THIS is the moment four Ukrainian commandos wiped out an entire unit of Russian soldiers in a daring night raid.
Dramatic footage from the besieged city of Bakhmut shows the fierce Ukrainian soldiers blasting Putin’s troops with grenades before opening fire on the unit.

The four commandos executed the operation with the help of a night drone and the commander of Ukraine’s special tactical group “Adam”.
The Ukrainian forces reportedly wiped out 15 Russian soldiers and another six were captured.
The graphic video shows the moment the drone tracks down a group of Russian troops who appear to be huddled in a trench.
The commander of Ukraine’s special tactical group and the soldiers on the ground can be heard discussing how many Russian troops are on the ground.
One is then heard saying: “Need to throw in grenades.”
The Ukrainian forces hurl several grenades into the trench – injuring the cowering Russian soldiers.
At one point, a grenade lands straight on one of the troops.
Someone can be heard saying: “Oh, another one! Went right into him! F***!
“His f***ing arm tore off.”
The unit can be heard discussing how the Russian troops are still moving despite being blasted by the grenades.
The commander tells his soldiers that “those alive need to be taken”.
He asks the troops if the Russian soldiers are still “flinching”.
The drone footage then shows Ukrainian soldiers entering the trenches – with one dramtically firing a Russian troop at point-blank range.
A Ukrainian soldier can be heard saying: “He shot him. Get it, f***ing scum.”
As the soldiers move down the trenches to the next Russian, the commander can be heard ordering his men to do “a kill shot”.
The video ends with footage of six injured Russian soldiers, who have been captured and blindfolded.
The four-minute long clip was shared by WarTranslated – a project aiming to create a video archive for the Ukraine war.
Dmitri, who runs the project, said the daring operation took place in the eastern city of Bakhmut.
He explained: “Bakhmut, four soldiers of the Ukrainian SOF with the help of a night drone listen to the commander of the tactical group ‘Adam’, throw grenades and finish off at point-blank range a whole unit of Russian soldiers – 15 killed and 6 prisoners.
“There were no losses on our side. Exemplary night combat, exemplary small group tactics.
“The tactical group ‘Adam’ shows high combat capability due to competent management, intelligence and focus on the constant destruction of Russian infantry.
“The phrase ‘kill shot’ at 03:46 could be interpreted as a ‘control shot’ rather than a shot with a specific purpose to kill.
“The Russian is not moving at that point and the shot is made to ensure he does not present danger.”
Ukraine said Russian troops are escalating their onslaught against Ukrainian positions around Bakhmut.
Meanwhile, the US has announced it will train Ukrainian troops at a base in Oklahoma on how to use the advanced Patriot air defense system that Washington is providing to Kyiv.
Washington promised a Patriot battery to Ukraine at the end of last year to help counter aerial attacks by Moscow.
It marked a significant victory for Kyiv, which had repeatedly pushed the United States for the system.
“Training for Ukrainian forces on the Patriot air defense system will begin as soon as next week at Fort Sill, Oklahoma,” Pentagon Press Secretary Brigadier General Pat Ryder said.
“The training will prepare approximately 90 to 100 Ukrainian soldiers to operate, maintain and sustain the defensive system over a training course expected to last several months.
“Once fielded, the Patriot will… contribute to Ukraine’s air defence capabilities and provide another capability to Ukrainian people to defend themselves against Russia’s ongoing aerial assaults.
Air defences have played a key role in protecting Ukraine from strikes and stopping Moscow’s forces from gaining control of the skies.
In the last day, Russian forces have mounted eight missile and 31 air strikes, carried out 63 rocket attacks and hit the cities of Kharkiv, Kherson, Kramatorsk and Ochakiv, Ukraine said.
Britain said Russia had most likely captured most of a mining town in the east of the country.
Ukraine’s deputy defence minister said Kyiv’s forces were still holding out in the eastern salt mining town of Soledar despite a massive Russian onslaught.
If Russia captures the town, it would be the most substantial gain since a series of humiliating retreats throughout much of the second half of last year.
